Conference: “Byzantine Studies in Turkey: New Research, Alternative Trends”

The conference entitled “Byzantine Studies in Turkey: New Research, Alternative Trends” took place on March 18-19, 2016 at the Rectorate Conference Hall of Boğaziçi University. The main purpose of the conference was to provide a platform for scholars in Turkey specializing in Byzantine history, art, architecture and archaeology, to present original perspectives and new methodological approaches that they developed in their respective fields.
