Spring Tours 2026: Explore the historic corners of Istanbul by German Archeological Institute

Explore Istanbul’s historic corners on spring tours.

Temperatures are rising and the sun is shining – spring has arrived in Istanbul! Perfect conditions to begin spring tours and explore the historic corners of the city together. During these tours, members of the Istanbul Department will present historic monuments and districts of the city. The spring tours will begin with Prof. Dr. Felix Pirson leading a guided tour of the German ambassador's summer residence in Tarabya. The event will take place on Sunday, March 29, at 14:00 and will be held in German. Please register by March 27, 2026, 12:00 at lectures.istanbul@dainst.de. Everyone interested is warmly invited to explore Istanbul's historical sites!
